She encounters a cadre of TEA partiers, politicos, commentators and personalities in a bizarre nether world of characters and scenarios, until no longer concerned in finding the original scoundrel, she looks only to find a way out of the purgatory. And, in the end, when pursued by the angry right-wing mob, Alicia stumbles back into her original family function, in the nick of time.
